Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Workshop Manager with deep mechanical expertise in trucks, diesel engines, and gearboxes to oversee the maintenance and repair of a fleet of 100 trucks. The ideal candidate will lead and manage a team of 1215 workshop staff, ensuring operational efficiency, minimal downtime, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, train, and supervise workshop staff (1215 mechanics and technicians).

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues related to diesel engines, gearboxes, and truck systems.

Plan and oversee routine maintenance and emergency repairs for the fleet.

Manage workshop schedules, spare parts inventory, and cost control.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Provide regular reports and updates to the Managing Director.

Requirements:

Proven experience in truck maintenance and workshop management.

In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, gearboxes, and heavy-duty vehicle systems.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively.

Relevant technical qualifications or certifications preferred.
