Our Exciting Opportunity 

Do you want to craft future wireless technologies and unlock a new level of connectivity and communication?  

We are looking for a passionate wireless systems researcher, preferably newly graduated (M.Sc. or PhD), to join us in Herzogenrath, Germany, and help us build technology that will connect people worldwide. 

You will be responsible for  

Contributing to the development of the next generation of wireless networks (e. g. 6G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth) via research projects, involving major players of the eco system as well academic thought leaders. Working in an international team of world-class researchers, with different backgrounds and experiences, including some of the key authorities and technology leaders in mobile communications. Using and developing simulation tools for evaluating new concepts and solutions. Contributing and driving developed concepts in standardization bodies and protecting inventions with IPR. Working in a dynamic and cross-functional department, with opportunities for continuous professional development, trying out new roles and responsibilities, impacting ways of working, and much more. 


Qualifications 

The position is available for newly graduated students/researchers (M.Sc. or PhD) within electrical engineering, computer science or other study field related to wireless communications.  

You should bring the following qualifications: 

In-depth understanding of wireless communications protocols (e.g., IEEE 802.11.). Experience in the development of new features for wireless systems is considered a plus. Excellent analytical skills, eagerness to find innovative solutions to sophisticated problems. Rich initiative and creativity with strong personal drive and dedication. Programming skills and experience in computer simulations. Excitement to work in an environment, where you cooperate closely in a diverse team striving to fulfil common targets. Excellent communication skills both orally as well as in writing.  Proficiency in English is a must, German skills are an advantage.
