Job Description:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES;


WASH Infrastructure Implementation

Support the installation of water treatment systems, latrines, and rehabilitation of water sources based on technical designs.Supervise contractors and community workers during construction and installation processes.Ensure construction quality aligns with technical guidelines.

Hygiene Promotion

Coordinate and co-facilitate hygiene promotion trainings with the NO Hygiene Specialist.Support the distribution and appropriate use of hygiene materials.

Monitoring and Reporting

Use mWater software to monitor WASH activity outputs and service functionality.Conduct regular field visits for activity monitoring and provide timely recommendations for improvements.Document progress and contribute to reports as required.

Supply and Logistics Support

Coordinate WASH-related supply planning, distribution, and inventory tracking.Support timely delivery and accountability of materials to communities and partners.

Partner Coordination and Oversight

Monitor and provide technical guidance to local implementing partners.Ensure partner activities are aligned with project standards and timelines.

Collaboration with Technical Teams

Work closely with the NO WASH Technical Team for technical support, troubleshooting, and capacity building.Participate in planning meetings and learning sessions organized by the technical unit.


KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

Bachelor’s degree in (Prefer: Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Public Health, or related field)Minimum 2 years’ experience in WASH implementation, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.Experience with WASH infrastructure and hygiene promotion is essential.Good understanding of mWater or similar monitoring tools is preferred.Strong coordination, field supervision, and reporting skills.Ability to work under pressure and in diverse cultural settings.
