To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including the storage and dispatch of volume orders and goods.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n\nTo manage and oversee the daily, weekly and monthly warehouse operational process and people requirements through effective leadership whilst supporting the Site Manager in achieving site KPI's & cost budget objectives\nResponsible for meeting all customer requirements and ensuring operational performance is at required levels to meet company and customer expectations\nAnalyse and understand the health and safety related risks for our colleagues, take action to reduce or eliminate the risks, according to a prioritised plan\nTakes responsibility for managing and running a safe operation and driving a Safety First Culture with all individuals in the operation by applying and improving the Safety Standards\nTo lead a continuous improvement culture in line with H&S guidelines, as well as site procedures and processes\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nProven experience in FMCG Warehouse Operations Management \nStrong communication skills both written and verbal\nExcellent IT skills - using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems\nExperience leading change management initiatives and driving continuous improvement processes\nPeople Management skills - conducting performance reviews, health reviews, back to works, grievances \n\n
