About this opportunity:

Ericsson in Borås is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team (material handling) as an Operations Technician. This role requires a strong understanding of varied responsibilities and extensive on-the-job experience. It offers excellent potential for growth. You will be instrumental in solving atypical issues, establishing procedures to enhance efficiency, and improving work quality. Additionally, you will liaise with stakeholders and contribute valuable data for projects. Travel may be required within the role.

 

Team Composition: The team currently consists of only four people who work closely together. Therefore, it is essential to be a flexible team player, as the days can vary greatly.

This position requires you to be on-site 100%, as it is not a hybrid role. Additionally, shift work may be required.

 

What you will do:

Manage and oversee quality control of incoming goods.Handle standardized system transactions, including packing and receipt of goods according to specifications.Safely handle dangerous goods and operate safety equipment.Implement effective waste management strategies, focusing on electronic waste and packaging.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain work areas according to safety regulations.Provide first-line support for operational issues and drive the implementation of improved processes.Conduct inventory and stocktaking activities to ensure accurate tracking and management of materials.

 

The skills you bring:

Proven experience in material handling and warehouse management.Ability to manage customer-specific solutions and optimize transport operations.Expertise in excess material management, return management, and dangerous goods management.Fluent in spoken and written Swedish; good knowledge of English written and spoken.Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.Forklift certification and ability to operate safely and efficiently.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving processes.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.A keen sense of quality and delivery assurance.

 
This position requires approval through a security clearance process in accordance with relevant laws. For roles requiring security classification, specific citizenship may be required.
