DescriptionAn enthusiastic and service-oriented Waiter/Waitress
Key Responsibilities· Provide courteous, professional, and efficient service to guests at all times, in accordance with brand standards.· Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens, and confidently answer guest inquiries.· Accurately take and process food and beverage orders using POS systems, and communicate order details clearly to the kitchen and bar teams.· Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct presentation and guest satisfaction.· Set up and maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining areas.· Present bills and process payments efficiently and accurately.· Handle guest feedback and complaints in a professional manner, escalating to supervisors when necessary and ensuring follow-up.· Adhere strictly to all policies, including fire safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP compliance).· Support the team in daily opening and closing procedures.· Contribute to a positive team environment and actively seek opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise· Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury hotel / restaurant environment.· Proficiency in English· Strong knowledge of food and beverages· Guest-focused, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.· Team player with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.· Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to flexible working hours.· Professional appearance and a commitment to high standards of service and ethics.· Experience with POS systems and basic computer skills is preferred.
