EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS 

Currently a candidate for a Master's, Bachelor’s degree, or Diploma in User Experience Design, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.   

Experience working across disciplines with designers, engineers, developers, and product teams A user-centric approach to experience design. Experience with UX tools and skills such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Miro. The ability to clearly communicate results and present suggestions creatively and compellingly. A portfolio demonstrating your design methods and rationale behind your solutions. Strong visual skills with a keen attention to detail. Professionalism with the ability to deliver quality work on tight schedules.

It would be nice if you also had:  

Experience in design thinking techniques and conducting workshops. Familiarity with CSS and HTML. Knowledge of JavaScript is a bonus.

As a part of our team, you will:  

Create UX specifications for web-based applications. Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.  Apply expert knowledge of user-centered design principles. Provide creative and innovative problem-solving solutions. Take initiative in design work and contribute both unaided and in a team, with strong teamwork skills. Learn and apply the Nokia design system to drive consistency in the design you create.
