And that starts with finding the right talent to help us get there. **Section 2: Position Overview** Provide a concise summary of the position, its purpose, and its importance within the company. **Section 1: Job Title** Clearly state the position’s title to convey the role and level of responsibility. **Customer Engagement Message Designer** **Career Architecture Title:** HIH – User Experience Design Senior Analyst **Position Overview** As a User Experience Design Lead Analyst specializing in Design / HTML on the Customer Engagement team, you own design and the development of code for all outbound, customer-facing digital communications (especially email) and ensure all follows the appropriate Design Systems created within our digital organization in alignment with brand guidelines and best practices. You will ensure that communications are reusable and created in a customer-centric, client-agnostic manner for the most efficient technical solution. You will partner and collaborate with all the necessary partners to align on requirements needed for design creation that is representative of the larger digital customer journey and experience. **Section 3: Responsibilities** Clearly outline the primary duties and tasks associated with the role. Use action verbs (i.e., lead, drive, analyze, assess, research, etc.) to convey expectations. **Responsibilities** < >Owning and creating HTML code for all digital communications and ensure the code is accurate based on design requirements and approvals for the engineering team to complete the journey build of the campaigns. Working within in design tools for design build and HTML code (i.e. Figma, RPI and Litmus). Design visually beautiful and engaging emails that will be sent out to millions of customers, with goal of improving customer engagement metrics like registration, containment, engagement within the digital space. Partner collaboratively with engagement strategists, business owners and content strategists to develop the most effective design that aligns with the overarching requirements and digital experience. Review design components with design system team, branding partners, accessibility team, and web/mobile product to ensure alignment across design and brand guidelines as well as ensuring a holistic design approach within the member journey.Work closely with the campaign manager and engineering teams to ensure all communications are being built in a reusable and client agnostic manor for efficiencies end effectiveness. Owning own deliverable dates across work that is aligned to design and HTML to meet project timelines and expectations. **Section 4: Qualifications** Specify the skills, experience, and education required for the role. Understanding of email design constraints in HTML/CSS, inline styles, responsive layouts, and different email clients. Experience in building email templates and testing across multiple email clients with Litmus.Strong visual design skills with ability to do high quality digital illustration.Understanding of best practices in email design, communications, and what drives engagement and conversions. Creating emails with components for both design and code is a plus. Expertise in Figma and Adobe Illustrator.Experience in creating and managing larger scale email campaigns. Direct-to-customer marketing experience is required.
