Key Responsibilities:

1. Fund Management & Liquidity Planning

Monitor daily cash flows, borrowing positions, and utilization of credit lines. Ensure timely fund availability for disbursements and operational requirements. Manage short-term investments, fixed deposits, and inter-corporate deposits.

 

2. Borrowing and Funding Operations

Execute borrowing transactions through bank lines, CPs, NCDs, and other instruments. Liaise with banks and financial institutions for term loans, refinance, and working capital facilities. Prepare funding proposals and manage documentation and compliance.

 

3. ALM and Risk Management

Support the ALM process including preparation of liquidity and interest rate risk reports. Assist in the preparation of Structural Liquidity, Interest Rate Sensitivity, and other RBI-mandated statements. Work closely with Finance and Risk teams on gap analysis and mitigation strategies.

 

4. Treasury Operations & Controls

Ensure accurate accounting and timely settlement of treasury transactions. Maintain documentation, audit trails, and regulatory compliance for all treasury activities. Coordinate with auditors and ensure adherence to internal controls and governance.

 

5. MIS & Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Treasury MIS for management and Board/ALCO review. Track key treasury metrics including borrowing costs, surplus deployment returns, and yield spreads. Contribute to Treasury automation, digitization, and process improvement initiatives.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

Education : CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA (preferred) Experience : 5–10 years in Treasury roles in an NBFC, bank, or financial institution Strong understanding of money markets, debt markets, and liquidity instruments Familiarity with RBI regulations applicable to NBFCs, including LCR, SLR, and capital adequacy Proficient in MS Excel, Treasury Management Systems (TMS), and accounting software
