Business EnvironmentThe Creation Platform is at the core of the Amadeus Travel Unit growth strategy by powering the next generation travel ecosystem. It connects partners, suppliers, customers, and travelers with solutions, capabilities and content to power the traveller centric journeys of tomorrow.
Within the Creation Platform, the Big Data Solution train gathers Data Engineers and DevOps from several organizations, all driven towards the same mission: deliver products and solutions leveraging the big data platform and all the content / datasets available in the data mesh.
We are looking for a Train Product Manager with a deep interest in data, AI and ML, advanced analytics, with a wide knowledge of Amadeus, who can drive the train roadmap, embark Business Lines into a platform adoption and deliver the new products and solution Business Lines require.
About the roleThe train presents several challenges ahead: embarking Navitaire to publish their data, transforming them in a standardized format, and enhance the Market Insight solution with new content, and deliver Neloma, the new airlines audit trail solution.
Within this role of Train PM of the Big Data Solutions train, leveraging on the Big Data Platform, you will drive a vision:
Make data valuable for our customers, for our partners & for Amadeus by exploring, exploiting and exposing data;Become the center of gravity of data analytics across the Amadeus organizations by democratizing shared value and synergies.Ensure customer programs and engagements are timely delivered;Drive the vision of the products and contribute to the platform to become a reference in the Travel Industry as a Data solution enabler;Put the Data Platform in the center of our solutions to accelerate its transformation and adoption, and provide valuable feedbacks to the Platform Teams, or the Amadeus Data OfficeIn close collaboration with commercial, R&D, and other teams, you will be in charge of:
Leading the development of the solutions to optimize the delivery of the capabilities from multiple stakeholdersPrioritizing what gets built, leading the Product Owners (POs) inside the ART (11 teams for the moment)Achieving Business (and Product) Objectives, fulfilling our OKRsDriving cross-functional Alignment (to support Business/Product Objectives) from dev to customer-facing teams (and back)Identifying and fostering the delivery synergiesLeading the Delivery & execution planControlling the CostsBuilding Enabler's investment + leading train budget consolidationFostering the usage of the platform capabilities and Transversal Datasets across Amadeus,About our ideal candidateProven experience as a Product Manager or Train Product ManagerTechnology-driven: AI and ML is a constantly evolving ecosystemAdaptable: ease with uncertainty, ability to adapt to evolving context and strategy, ability to operate in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment Collaborative: teamwork, sharing ideas, achievements and risks, Ability to quickly establish strong relationships and credibilityLeader: lead the way, push for needed transformation, gather people and effectively communicate the purposeFormalize: ability to document and synthesize the needs (what and why) in order to bring value to solution experts (how to).
