Temporary Test Development Administrator – Maternity Leave Cover

We are seeking a Test Development Administrator to join our English Language Learning team at Pearson. This is a short-term, temporary position that will provide coverage for an employee on maternity leave. The anticipated work dates are March – October 2025. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Test Development. The role of the Test Development Administrator will involve working closely with the Test Development and Test Publishing teams to ensure the quality and accuracy of our assessment content. This will include reviewing and revising content, ensuring all content aligns to our standards, and communicating and setting up vendors and suppliers in our system in order to process payments, contracts, and SOWs. This is a remote role and candidates are expected to have a suitable home office. All necessary computer equipment will be provided. Occasional travel to Pearson’s office in central London may be required.  

 

Responsibilities: 

Review and revise test content in various platforms to ensure it conforms to required standards 

Sit tests as part of the QA process and provide feedback 

Hire and set up vendors and suppliers in Pearson’s systems 

Track invoices and payments to vendors and suppliers 

Perform other duties as assigned to assist the Test Development and Test Publishing teams 

Qualifications: 

 

Bachelor’s degree in a language-related field, such as Linguistics, TESOL, Language Studies, ESL/EFL, or English 

1-2 years of job experience in an education-related industry 

Experience with Excel and basic formulas 

Strong written communication skills 

Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail 

Ability to effectively meet deadlines 

Must be able to successfully work independently and remotely from a home office 

Ability to grasp new technology development and testing platforms 

Experience teaching English language learners is a plus 

Experience in the educational testing and assessment industry is a plus 

The salary for this role is estimated to be XX-XX, depending on location and experience.
