POSITION SUMMARY:

The Territory Manager will be responsible for driving new sales from new and existing customers in their assigned territory. This individual will also be responsible for gaining new customers in line with regional strategy and sector growth plans and providing preventative maintenance, emergency service and install support as needed within territory. The Territory Manager will also be responsible for developing Distributor relations at assigned Warewash/Laundry accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive new sales from existing customersGain new customers in line with regional strategy and sector growth plansProvide preventative maintenance, emergency service and install support as needed within territoryDevelop Distributor Sales Representatives at the assigned Warewash/Laundry distributorsImplement the sales funnel in the OnDemand systemManage territory expense budgetExecute support plan for global and national accounts within sales territory as neededDeliver financial performance for sales territoryDevelop margin improvement plans for territoryProvide input to innovation development funnelProvide forecast input to District Manager for assigned distributors and accountsEngage and train key customer teams within territoryAssist sectors on national program rolloutsLaunch new products and promotions to assigned end user accountsEnd user sales calls  with sector teamsOther duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or G.E.D. requiredValid Driver’s License with a clean driving recordAbility to lift objects up to 35lbs and execute precise work with hands in limited spacesComputer technology experience – Email, Excel, Word, Google Applications, Cell Apps, iMAPAbility to work nights and weekends as determined by business needPlumbing and/or electricity skills preferred

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

B2B sales experience is strongly preferredDistribution expertise is a plusTechnical support skills for Ware Washing and Laundry systemsFloor care experienceTechnical equipment maintenance experience is a plusAbility to use hand toolsProfessional attitude and be self-motivated/directedDocumented time management, communication skills, decision making, interpersonal, computer and organizational skillsAbility to work cross functionally to achieve company goalsStrong business acumen and customer focusedStrong negotiating skills and results orientedAbility to manage and measure work as well as planningEnergetic and passionate and able to influence othersShould demonstrate Diversey values
