Territory Manager

About the role: We are currently looking for a experienced Territory Manager to assist Certiport in the growth of its certification and skilling business through Certiport channel partners and Pearson enterprise teams. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage Certiport business in the assigned region and to manage all partner management and recruitment activities.

As a Territory Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

70% Partner Management and Recruitment: Manage relationships with existing partners to ensure their success and satisfaction. Provide sales coaching to partners to enhance their sales capabilities and performance. Recruit, evaluate, and sign new country channel partners. Attend key regional or national trade shows in the assigned region. Coordinate with Directors of Business Development on funding opportunities via government, NGOs, World funding organizations, etc., to substantiate sale opportunities. Present, co-present, or support presentations of any Certiport clients to potential new or renewing large account customers, including frequent meetings at client offices in the region. Communicate the value of certifications, properly define and map the product to government and educational projects, overcome objections, resolve customer concerns, and close potential sales in all types of sales settings. Demonstrate initiative in finding new business, new contacts, and new accounts resulting in increased revenue. 20% Team Coordination and Sales Tracking: Coordinate with Global Territory Managers and HQ supporting teams to ensure that all are completely familiar with activities and opportunities in the region. Track and record all sales motion and activities in Pipeline reports. Maintain daily account sales forecasts and updates in Pipeline reports. Attend weekly Asia Pacific team coordination meetings. 10% Other Duties as Assigned: Ensure that sales on-boarding staff, customer services, and technical support teams provide appropriate support for assigned customers. Manage contract negotiations with current and new partners/CATCs. Assist the finance team in collection efforts. Travel for business/government meetings, trade shows, and other assigned events. Support the Director Global Partnerships in various management and planning meetings.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: 

Proven experience as a Territory Manager, Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales or a related field, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. BSc/BA in Business, Marketing or a related field Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs Excellent communication skills Organizational and leadership ability Problem-solving aptitude
