About this opportunity

Telco Cloud Expert is part of MS team who will manage and operate Telco Cloud Infrastructure network through performing all 2nd level operations activities.
What You’ll Do
•    Lead and support second-line operations for cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability across virtualized environments.
•    Oversee integration and acceptance of new nodes, services, and cloud-native workloads into production with minimal risk.
•    Drive root cause analysis and resolution of complex hardware/software/configuration issues, delivering timely and high-quality solutions.
•    Lead technical responses during critical incidents and outages, ensuring rapid service recovery and clear communication with stakeholders.
•    Collaborate with customer support, project teams, and domain experts (e.g., IMS, Core) to manage CSRs end-to-end.
•    Review high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD), test plans (ATP), and validate test cases for alignment with cloud infrastructure strategy.
•    Lead migration activities for onboarding services to the live network while ensuring service continuity and operational integrity.
•    Serve as a subject matter expert for OpenStack, SDN, NFVi components (storage, compute, network), and virtualization technologies.

What You’ll Bring
•    Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
•    7–10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure operations, preferably in telecom or large-scale service provider environments.
•    Strong proficiency with Cisco VIM, UCS hardware platforms, Cisco ACI (fabric and multi-site), and Cisco NSO/NFVO tools.
•    Mastery of virtual switching (OVS, VPP, SR-IOV), service chaining, overlay networking (VXLAN/GRE), and SDN orchestration.
•    Expert-level knowledge of OpenStack (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Ceph) and Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) with working experience on bare metal and virtualized backends.
•    Experience working with CUPS architecture for EPC/5GC – understanding of vSPGW-C/U, UPF, SMF/AMF separation, and associated performance tuning.
•    Deep working knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux (RHEL/Debian), and NFV management/orchestration (MANO).
•    Strong scripting and automation background: Python, Bash, YAML, and REST/gRPC APIs for infrastructure integrations.
•    RHCSA/RHCE certifications or equivalent Linux administration proficiency.
•    Advanced scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, Ansible) to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency.
•    Experience with Cisco Cloud Infrastructure technologies, such as Cisco VIM, Cisco ACI, or Cisco NFVi, is highly desirable.
•    Strong understanding of ETSI NFV architecture and SDN/SDI concepts.
•    Proven track record in leading cross-domain technical troubleshooting and incident resolution.
•    Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
