PLM Technologist (m/f/d) Temporary 12 months

LOCATION: Hamburg

REPORTS TO: Manager, Technical PLM & Knowledge Management T&HS EMEA

FIXED TERM: 12 Months

WORKPLACE TYPE: On-site

The PLM Technologist is responsible for supporting PLM activities such as product performance characterisation linking to application knowledge, analytical experience and measurement capabilities

Core Responsibilities:

Technical Assessment – conduct technical evaluations of products to support PLM project work such as sourcing changes, product and process optimisation projects and concession workKnowledge Management – As technical expert in product characterisation act as administrator for the starch libraryG2M support – support the technical community in running measurement analysis for selected projectsDocumentation – support the PLM product documentation maintenance workstream for our EPL productsCoordination – Coordinate measurement equipment maintenance

Qualified candidates will have:

Mandatory requirements:

Experience in the food ingredient industryGood insights into the typical value-props and ingredient functionalities required across all food application segmentsFluent in English (verbal & writing)Experienced in analytical characterisation and rheological measurementsExperienced in supporting projects and using LSS-principles/methods to drive efficiency and process improvementsExcellent team-playerGood interpersonal & communication skillsEnthusiasm and creativity and ability to effectively organise, prioritise and execute
