This role will allow you to contributes to the delivery of business and research strategies for Kerry’s Savoury Snack Business.
Key responsibilities Provides technical support to the Sales Team in the completion of key projects, as well as technical contact for Kerry customers. Keep abreast of technical developments and market trends in the Savoury Snack market for Indonesia and APMEA. Development and implementation of strong application knowledge within relevant food categories and acts as a key technical advisor to other Kerry colleagues in product development. Leads new product development through to commercialization for key Savoury Snack projects in particular noodle application projects. Develop cost efficient robust recipes, processes and application stability through a thorough understanding of food product design and the fundamental chemical interactions occurring in food products. Builds scientific knowledge through interactions with other Kerry RD&A personnel and by regular scientific literature reviews, regulatory monitoring, and application studies. Establishes strong relationships with selected academic researchers and Universities to further develop scientific/application knowledge. Ensures applications meet legislation requirements in the regional or global markets where sales are expected, including any special criteria for the relevant category Participates in designated R,D&A projects and ensures appropriate documentation of experimental trials and outcomes to facilitate scale up and product transfer to manufacturing. Qualifications and skills Preferably a Bachelors in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Food Science. Preferably 2-3 years' experience in food industry. Prior experience of working with a variety of products. Good to have laboratory, pilot plant and factory experience.
