The Team:
The Oracle Database Developer Relations Team (DB DevRel) is a group of highly creative, innovative creators that bring Oracle Database products and services to life! We are part of the Database product development team and build technical content, demos/apps, videos, blogs, and share those on websites, social channels and developer conferences to encourage use of Database by developers. We sponsor developer conferences and virtual events, partner with Universities and coding bootcamps, build developer focused programs to make it easy for developers to find and use Database, and we manage web sites, authority pages, and SEO for Database. Our team is global, work collaboratively across all lines of business, and is responsible for all Database products.

What You’ll Bring (Objective Minimum Qualifications):
To be considered for a Technical Writer Intern position in the Database Technologies organization, you must possess the Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs) below.

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail. A passion for technology and learning software products. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Eagerness to learn from and teach others. Ability to work independently. Working knowledge of common technologies such as relational databases, Java and frameworks such as React, and familiarity with open-source technologies. Experience with SQL or Oracle Database preferred. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Business, English, Technical Writing, Rhetoric and Professional Writing or equivalent major and completing your sophomore or junior year only by summer 2025. Must be returning to the degree program after completion of the internship. Attend a university in the US. Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2025.About You (Preferred Qualifications):
