The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Technical Writer to join our team. This role will be instrumental in creating and maintaining a variety of technical documentation for our products and services. The ideal candidate possesses excellent writing and communication skills, a strong technical aptitude, and the ability to translate complex information into clear and concise documentation.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for creating and writing various types of user documents, including how-to guides, references, manuals, cheat sheets, or instructions.Work with customers to translate their functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.Supports the engineering team with documentation for system components and engineering arti factsProcess Owner for all technical documentation on the program including documentation produced by professional technical writers under managementWrites and edits technical documentation for all of the project’s hardware and soft ware to include installation, configuration and how-to documentationPrepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including soft ware and systems engineering, system operations, testing and user documentation.Distill complex information into clear, concise textApply writing and grammar skills and deliver accurate documentation under tight deadlinesUse documentation tools to develop templates and create output in various mediumsKnowledge and understanding of SDLC, Risk Management Framework (RMF) and and/or PWS terminologyDemonstrate innovative influence within a project that has impact and participation from multiple stakeholdersCreate Standardized process for managing documentation, reviewing documentation on and approval of documentation.Update, manage and maintain project and component knowledge base.

Required Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to write clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation.Knowledge and understanding of Soft ware Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and/or Performance Work Statement (PWS) terminology.Experience using documentation tools and creating templates.Knowledge of SharePoint administration.Knowledge of ServiceNow.Working knowledge of Enterprise network architecture, Cloud Environments (Azure, AWS, Google), Agile methodologies to assist engineers in drafting and editing client deliverables.

Desired Skills:

Experience working with engineering teams to document technical specifications.Experience in creating and maintaining knowledge bases.Educati0n and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related fi eld. Equivalent experience will be considered

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300 - 189,600 USD
