Technical Project Manager-Cloud Infra (MEA Region)

In this role, you’ll be working in our Services and Care (S&C) Cloud Domain team to drive infrastructure platform deliveries across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. Your focus will be on Nokia Cloud Platform (NCP) and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), with an emphasis on orchestration, automation, and multi-vendor cloud technologies.

You’ll be working with some of the world’s largest telecommunications providers, where reliability and performance are mission-critical. This is a great opportunity to apply and grow your expertise in cloud technologies, including Nokia Cloud Services (NCS), Kubernetes, OCP, and NCP.

You have:

An engineering (or equivalent) degree with 8+ years of experience, including 5+ years of driving and managing technical project deliveries for core telecom networks, with a focus on infrastructure cloud platforms. Practical experience in cloud technologies such as Native Cloud, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), VMware, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kubernetes, and Docker. Knowledge of Nokia Cloud Blueprint architecture, Virtual Network Functions (VNF), Cloud-Native Network Functions (CNF), and a solid grasp of multivendor cloud environments to facilitate onboarding and integration tasks.

It would be nice if you also had:

Worked with Integrators and Solution Architects across local and global delivery centers, working effectively across cultures, time zones, and flexible working models. Drive the technical management and implementation of cloud infrastructure projects, focusing on Nokia Cloud Platform (NCP), Red Hat OpenShift (OCP), orchestration (Nokia Cloud Operations Manager – NCOM), and automation (Nokia Cloud Deployment – NCD) platforms. Oversee all technical project activities, including requirements, architecture, development, integration, and testing (Customer Acceptance Test/ATP), following Nokia's Advanced Integration Methodology (AIM). Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the customer, with the ability to address issues quickly, engage the right experts, and drive resolutions effectively. Secure formal customer sign-off on technical requirements and solution acceptance. Provide technical acumen in the Project Turnover to Delivery (PTA) process, reviewing the Statement of Work (SOW), Bill of Materials (BOM), solution architecture, and timelines. Identify change request (CR) opportunities, coordinate technical assessment with the solution architect, manage costing, and track execution of approved changes.
