Technical Program Manager - Azure Core - Cloud Buildout Infrastructure & Lifecycle

The Microsoft Azure Core team is responsible for building and managing the fundamental platform across compute, storage, and networking services. This role is crucial in leading a team dedicated to developing services and automation at the very core of the Azure platform. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple partner teams to plan, design, and implement some of the foundational building blocks of the Azure platform, including highly available core infrastructure services used across the entire platform. We are seeking a strong Technical Program Manager to contribute to a highly functional and high-performing team. To excel in this role, you should possess strong technical and analytical skills (a software development background is a great asset for this role), excellent cross-group collaboration abilities, curiosity to build technical depth and a passion for driving innovative technology designs in partnership with both local and remote teams. You should also be adept at making data-driven decisions and deriving insights from data. You will work with teams across multiple organizations in Azure to influence the design of our infrastructure services, processes, and tools that will continue to enhance the platform. Each day, we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. **Responsibilities** + You will define architecture and technical requirements for foundational services and automation for the Azure Platform. + You will work with customers and partner teams to identify and prioritize product / service requirements + You will lead product planning for end-to-end scenarios related to the above areas + You will partner with software engineers on scenario design, product roadmap and incremental delivery, to jointly deliver core capabilities that help drive improvements to Azure overall Operational Excellence and enable the Azure Platform to be best of class in data center buildout efficiency and data governance + You will drive broad cross-team technical issues and customer experiences + You will present to customers, and use customer and partner feedback to continuously improve the product / service and the technology + You will define KPIs and establish and execute on plans for improving those KPIs + You will prepare content for cross-team and executive reviews + You will work in a fast-paced technical environment with engineering leaders across Microsoft **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science AND experience in software engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis orproduct development + Experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. **Other Requirements:** + Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
