Job Family Information TechnologyCareer Stream It Application DevelopmentLeadership Pipeline Manage ManagersJob Purpose To manage (end to end) the strategy; planning; organising; negotiating; staffing directing and controlling of all aspects of projects or programmes for a portfolio in ensuring the successful implementation of IT Projects and to realise the business cluster strategy. Provides expert advice and counsel to functional/ and non functional user personnel and project teams on the most complex aspects of integration of logical groupings of technologies.To facilitate agreed solution and ensure the solution meets business requirements with minimal impact to the stability of the IT environment.Job Responsibilities Driving Strategy: This involves defining the product vision, creating a product roadmap, and ensuring the product aligns with business goals and customer needs. The TPO1 is responsible for the overall strategy and execution plan to realize the product roadmap. Application Health: The TPO1 ensures the operational stability, sustainability, and performance of the product. This includes continuous improvement, monitoring, and addressing issues proactively to maintain the product's competitiveness and usability. Stakeholder Engagement: The TPO1 acts as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that the product meets the needs of both. This involves managing expectations, gathering feedback, and maintaining clear communication with all parties involve Advanced Knowledge of Dynamics 365: A deep understanding of Dynamics 365 architecture, including its modules, data structures, and integration capabilities, is essential. Proficiency in Programming Languages: Knowledge of programming languages such as X++, C#, and SQL is crucial for customizing and extending Dynamics 365 functionalities. Data Management and Integration: Effective data management is at the core of Dynamics 365 implementations. You should be proficient in handling data migration, data integration, and data quality management. Skills in data migration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and API integrations are essential to maintaining a cohesive data environment. Customization and Configuration: Customization and configuration skills are critical for adapting Dynamics 365 to fit the unique requirements of your business. This includes modifying workflows, creating custom entities, and developing tailored solutions. Expertise in Power Platform Tools: The Microsoft Power Platform is a set of applications that work seamlessly with Dynamics 365, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. Professionals should have expertise in these tools to create custom applications, automate workflows, and generate insights from data. Technical Design and Requirements: You need to be able to define and finalize technical designs for various functionalities, such as securities, product overview, and schema implementations. Development and Integration: Experience in frontend and backend development, as well as integrating Dynamics 365 with other systems (e.g., MS Teams, MDM), is essential. This includes understanding APIs and ensuring seamless connectivity. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: You should be adept at identifying issues, finding solutions quickly, and ensuring the operational stability of the product1 Essential Qualifications - NQF Level Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate Preferred QualificationMatric and relevant tertiary qualification
MMP or equivalent
10 years' experience in an IT environment (across IT disciplines) of which at least 3 Years experience in leads D365 Squads and Teams, with a track record of technical experience in D365
