Job Summary

The role is responsible for performing complex software engineering tasks within a project team, ensuring adherence to best practices, and driving high-quality software delivery. The individual will actively contribute to project execution, mentor team members, uphold engineering standards, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration, leadership, and technical excellence are central to this role.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement features based on architectural guidance. Lead technical team members to meet deadlines and project goals. Deliver high-quality, standards-compliant code with thorough documentation. Provide accurate task estimations and ensure on-time delivery. Advocate and enforce consistent engineering practices across the team. Proactively communicate risks and issues to stakeholders. Embrace agile methodologies and support their adoption within the team. Drive technical initiatives, including code reviews, tool adoption, and performance optimizations. Support recruitment, mentoring, and onboarding of engineering talent.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software design and development.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of software architecture and object-oriented design. Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot and experience with open-source technologies. Hands-on experience with RDBMS/NoSQL databases. Familiarity with Agile practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of performance testing and early defect detection. Experience in UI/UX, web application development, and cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus.

Desirable Certifications
