Tech Solutions Sales Dir, Channel and Specialty Data Solutions
To be eligible for this position, you must reside in the same country where the job is located. **Job Description Summary** This role will support the Channel and Specialty Data Solutions (CSDS) business unit focused on providing comprehensive commercial data aggregation solutions to the life sciences, pharmaceutical and MedTech clients. CSDS enables clients to make informed decisions, improve patient outcomes and achieve commercial success. The Tech Solutions Sales Director works directly with assigned clients to understand their data and analytics business objectives and how our solutions align and adapt to those objectives. Identifies and closes business development opportunities, ensures commitments for implementation and delivery are met, and manages client satisfaction. **Essential Functions** + Drives sales efforts: Develops and implements strategies to secure new clients and manages and grows an existing base of clients. + Generates new business leads and proactively identifies sales opportunities through IQVIA account management coordination, market analysis, and client relationships. + Meets or exceeds assigned revenue and sales targets by effectively managing a robust pipeline of opportunities. + Drives and develops insightful tailored solutions, custom content and business proposals for clients, connecting business problems to solutions and offerings, presenting and pitching services to senior executives and decision-makers. + Primary focus is on Channel and Specialty Data Solutions leading the acquisition of new, high profile clients, organically growing assigned clients and focuses on winning deals for meeting revenue and profit objectives. + Suggests product and offering enhancement to development team; Brings a total solutions mindset to bear with clients. + Leverages subject matter expertise and experience to advise on best practices, coaching/mentoring teams in service delivery, and contributing to thought leadership. + Manages client escalations and issues with coordination both internally and externally to satisfactory resolution. + Collaborates successfully across COEs, geographies, business lines with a solutions-based consultative approach. + Adheres to standard operating procedures, maintains documentation as needed for sales operations, pricing and contracting and ensures conformance of contracted scope. + Other additional related job functions and tasks as assigned. **Required Education and Experience** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. **Experience** + Typically requires 10+ years of professional experience, with a proven track record in sales, business development, strategy, commercial operations or related roles. + Demonstrated success in closing large-scale deals. + Extensive experience in building and managing a pipeline of opportunities and achieving or exceeding revenue targets. **Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge** + Broad knowledge of the life sciences industry, including trends, challenges, and competitive landscapes and how commercial data aggregation principles, benefits, and technologies are leveraged and drive results + Hands on experience with all industry data across client’s third-party claims, prescriptions, sales and others. + Hands on experience with client’s first and second-party data from specialty distributors, wholesalers, specialty pharmacies, patient hubs, copay and others. + Expertise in consultative sales approaches, with the ability to craft compelling value propositions and deliver high-impact presentations. + Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to engage with internal stakeholders and external decision-makers effectively. + Proficiency in using Salesforce (or similar) to track sales activity and manage pipelines. + Strategic thinking with a focus on developing innovative solutions to address evolving client demands. + High energy, enthusiasm, and a results-driven approach to achieving business growth. + Ability to manage complex relationships and juggle priorities effectively. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of similar industry or relevant sales experience Req Or + Master's Degree with 6+ years of experience Req IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
