**Description:**
**Position Summary:**
The Housekeeping Team Leader plays a key role in supervising daily housekeeping operations across hotel rooms and serviced apartments. Responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and team productivity, the Team Leader supports the department in maintaining Hyatt’s commitment to exceptional hospitality.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Supervise and coordinate the activities of room attendants and public area attendants to ensure cleanliness and presentation of rooms and apartments meet Hyatt standards.
+ Conduct daily briefings, allocate tasks, and ensure fair room distribution.
+ Inspect guest rooms, apartments, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness for guest arrival.
+ Handle guest requests and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
+ Assist in training, coaching, and developing housekeeping colleagues.
+ Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering teams for smooth room turnovers, maintenance requests, and special guest requirements.
+ Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
+ Report lost and found items and ensure proper documentation.
+ Support departmental goals such as productivity, guest satisfaction scores, and hygiene audits.
**Qualifications:**
**Qualifications & Skills:**
+ Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, ideally in a hotel with both rooms and apartment-style accommodations.
+ Good communication and leadership skills.
+ Proficient in using housekeeping systems and basic Microsoft Office tools.
+ Strong eye for detail and ability to manage time effectively.
+ Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
+ Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards.
+ Familiarity with Opera PMS or similar systems is an advantage.
