Your RoleAs the Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Company's international tax compliance, tax planning, and accounting for income and other direct and indirect taxes. The role involves collaboration with corporate finance, international tax teams within the Company, as well as third-party consultants and service providers. You will contribute to ensuring timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with international tax regulations.
The role is based on Zurich reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance.
Your ResponsibilitiesManage Local Tax Filings: Oversee the timely completion of local country income tax filings and VAT returns, including review, analysis, and support.Manage Tax Audits: Manage and/or assist with local income tax and VAT audits, including preparing responses to information requests. Withholding Tax Reconciliations: Maintain withholding tax reconciliations and coordinate with external teams to receive supporting documents. Tax Document Compilation: Compile required government documents concerning taxes and offer solutions to pressing tax problems. Serve as the point of contact for coordinating issues with the US tax team and third-party advisors. Monitor Legislative Changes: Monitor legislative changes in foreign tax laws that may impact the Company’s tax positions, including tax accounting implications. Liaise with Third-Party Professionals: Liaise with third-party professionals, including solicitors, other accountants, tax advisors, and independent financial advisors. Implement Tax Planning Projects: Manage the implementation of tax planning projects into the Company’s tax operations process. Forecasting and Reporting: Enable accurate and timely forecasting of the group tax rate and acceleration of tax reporting close.U.S. GAAP Tax Accounting: Assist with U.S. GAAP tax accounting matters, including review of foreign components of the effective tax rate and tax balance sheet accounts. Transfer Pricing Analysis: Assist with transfer pricing analysis, including review and liaison with various internal parties on transfer pricing and management fee arrangements.
