TASKI Procurement Manager
The TASKI Procurement Manager is a key role within the Global TASKI Purchasing Organization, responsible for the procurement of Floor Care Machines (FCM) components and finished goods. This position manages an annual spend of approximately $10M to $20M, contributing to a global FCM expenditure of around $100M. The role aligns with the global procurement organization to ensure best practices and standardized strategies are implemented. This position reports to the Associate Director, Global Procurement TASKI.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the sourcing process for TASKI components, ensuring quality and cost efficiency while collaborating with R&D, Supply Chain, and Production teams.Identify, evaluate, and engage suppliers, ensuring the best manufacturing processes are utilized.Manage procurement of electrical components (e.g., power cords, wire harnesses, chargers, PCBs, batteries) and mechanical components (e.g., plastic and metal parts).Develop and implement purchasing strategies, including supplier selection, contract negotiation (1-3 year agreements), pricing, logistics, and timing.Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives that meet company objectives while maintaining quality and reliability.Monitor and enhance supplier performance based on service, quality, cost, and sustainability metrics.Participate in cross-functional, multi-regional project teams for new product development and innovation.Collaborate with technical, planning, and manufacturing teams to implement portfolio changes for cost savings or innovations.Support price forecasting and market trend analysis for inflation management.Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in engineering3 - 5 years of purchasing experience, supply chain, and/or experience with Floor Care Machines categoryJob Requirements:
Ability to work in diverse, multicultural teams and manage suppliers across different regions, including Europe and low-cost countries.Fluent in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Polish and/or German is a plus.Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of problem-solving.Strong team player with a collaborative approach.Experience in implementing procurement strategies and overcoming operational challenges.Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Willingness to travel as required.Valid driver’s license.What We Offer:
