What You'll Do

 

As a Talent Sourcing Associate, you will support the identification and engagement of top talent for BCG. You’ll build foundational sourcing skills, develop an understanding of the consulting talent market, and work closely with recruiters and sourcers to help deliver high-impact hires. You will play a vital role in bringing premier talent across distinct roles and functions into the organization, enabling BCG to deliver client solutions that have lasting impact on companies, industries, and society.

 

YOU’RE GOOD AT

 

As a Talent Sourcing Associate on the Experienced & Specialty Talent team, you will:

Build robust and high-quality talent pipelines in at least one of following areas:Digital and technical talent, including architects, engineers, and digital transformation expertsStrategic procurement & supply chain consultantsSenior strategy consultants with specific expertise in an industry or functional topic areaEntry-level consultantsUse a variety of sourcing methods (e.g., LinkedIn, HireEZ, social media) to identify pools of talent for unique, competitive, or difficult to fill rolesGain a deep understanding of the talent landscape for roles; build a competitive intelligence knowledge base of companies and candidates residing within those companiesCollaborate closely and provide support for talent acquisition recruiters to identify top talent, by executing on desired sourcing strategy; maintain flexibility to provide support in other topic areas depending on evolving and changing needsWork with Talent Sourcing Manager to maintain clear understanding of all current and potential openings. Deliver the quality and quantity of candidates to support open requisitions within reasonable and requested time framesManage talent pool activity and share data-centric updates with recruiters for broader communication with internal stakeholdersPerform initial contact and conduct preliminary screenings with candidates at the direction of the Talent Sourcing ManagerWork as part of the broader Experienced and Specialty Talent team that includes multiple cohorts, led by a Talent Acquisition Senior Director

What You'll Bring

 

1-2 years of talent sourcing experience, ideally gained in agency and/or professional services environment OR 1-2 years of experience in a research-focused role (e.g., market research, competitive intelligence, academic research) with demonstrated skills in identifying patterns, synthesizing information, and producing actionable insights.Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent requiredExcellent time and project management skills. You have clear systems and composure to deal with multiple tasks at once, with great attention to detail and accuracyStrong intellectual curiosity. You’re eager to learn, ask questions, and deepen your understanding of talent markets, roles, and business context.Creative and solutions-oriented mindset. You approach challenges thoughtfully and proactively, looking for ways to improve outcomes and think beyond the obvious.Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt both for audienceNaturally proactive, quality-driven and an ownership mentalityHands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, iCIMS and/or Eightfold a plusAbility to travel up to 10% expected

The Experienced & Specialty Talent Acquisition Team is organized by technical and industry expertise, allowing recruiters to specialize and source for multiple roles within a talent pool, serving more than one business unit / practice area and, importantly, allowing candidates one-stop access to BCG’s businesses.

That's why we operate on a hybrid model, with the expectation that team members will be in the office 3 to 5 days per week. This role is designed for those who thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is not intended for remote or virtual work. 

Compensation Information:  

 

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.  

 

We expect total annualized compensation for Chicago-based employees to be approximately the following: 

 

Base salary between $59,000- $72,300 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-12%  5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period First year annualized target total compensation: $65,667 - $80,469 (USD)
