CACI is seeking a Subject-Matter Expert (SME) Systems Engineer specializing in the Family of Advanced Beyond-Line-of-Sight Terminals (FAB-T) and Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Systems, you will provide critical engineering support to the Global Operations Center (GOC) within USSTRATCOM. Your expertise will directly assist the commander in maintaining operational readiness and enhancing communication capabilities across strategic missions. The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.
Responsibilities:
Leads engineering for designing and implementing critical SATCOM capabilities
Serves as primary engineer for GOC Support working with J4 concerning facility and power testing projects
Provides rapid ICBM communication capabilities
Serves as Technical SME for FAB-T and PNVC programs; liaison for GOC to provide early warning and mitigation of impacts to USSTRATCOM
Builds and provides inputs for technical solutions
Builds and provides systems diagrams and schematics/functional drawings
Provides ground-to-air system migration troubleshooting on the DIRECT system, crypto modernization, airborne interfaces, Milstar EHF terminal, and planning
Supports FAB-T migration, including essential voice and data services, such as SECN-DZ and AEHF PNVC
Supports recovery and reconstitution of critical systems post natural disaster MILCON efforts
Provides engineering support toward DRSN red switch, base POTS, multiple radio projects, including survivable HF and UHF SATCOM, and the SACCS/NOVA system
Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays) as required by mission needs
Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives. Depending on experience and team structure, this role may involve working under direct supervision or potentially providing guidance, training, or supervision to others
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant disciplines are a plus
Required 8140 Cert: 723 - Intermediate; GSEC; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training
Extensive knowledge of FAB-T systems, satellite communications, and related technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams
Clearance Required Top Secret with SCI Eligibility

The proposed salary range for this position is:
