As a System Engineer II you will be responsible for supporting Oracle Cerner Health Care Client’s IT Infrastructure involving management of - VMware vSphere, VMware Horizon and Citrix infrastructure. You will be expected to deliver Systems Management Support through 24X7 On-Call duties & work shifts that provide coverage to all the US time zones.

Must have skills:

Good understanding of Server virtualization and VDI -  Horizon and Citrix. Design, deploy, and manage VMware Horizon infrastructure including Horizon View, Horizon Agent, and Horizon Connection Servers. Develop and implement VDI architecture that meets business needs and performance requirements. Configure and manage virtual desktops, applications, and user environments. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to the VDI environment. Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure the stability and performance of the virtual desktop infrastructure. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff regarding VDI-related issues. Perform upgrade activities on Horizon, vSphere. Maintain comprehensive documentation for VDI architecture, configurations, and processes. Prepare and present reports on VDI performance, issues, and resolutions to management. Secure the infrastructure with latest OS patch, drivers & firmware.  Develop SOP documents and implement best practices. Support 24x7 On-call and troubleshoot critical events.  Perform capacity planning.

Good to have skills:

Hands on experience on managing Dell VxRail, Cisco UCS and HP blade servers.  Train and mentor junior Engineers on Server Virtualization solutions.
