CACI is seeking a Subject-Matter Expert Systems Administrator to play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, security and efficiency of mission-critical systems enhancing decision making; and command and control for key leaders within the command. This position requires in-depth technical knowledge, strategic problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.
Responsibilities:
Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge in installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades, including to cloud resources
Provides support and tech expertise in systems technology, including virtual hardware and cloud capabilities
Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves system hardware, software, and networking issues
Monitors response times, evaluating user satisfaction levels and making recommendations for system improvements
Interfaces with vendors/Government/tech staff on technical solutions, system implementation, optimization, and ongoing management
Guides/performs build, configuration, test, and documentation tasks related to enterprise system resources
Supports Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs) and other system outages as needed
Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation
Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays) as required by mission needs
Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives. Depending on experience and team structure, this role may involve working under direct supervision or potentially providing guidance, training, or supervision to others
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum of 7 years in systems administration within a complex, secure environment; experience in military or defense sectors is highly desirable
Required 8140 Cert: 451 - Intermediate; Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training
Proficient in various operating systems (Windows, Linux) and virtualization technologies
Strong understanding of network protocols and security measures
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Clearance Required Top Secret with SCI eligibility

The proposed salary range for this position is:
