The Network Management Engineering Unit within the Cloud Software and Services business unit offers a portfolio that enables the best-performing networks and delivers an exceptional user experience. We maximize today's capabilities while supporting the evolution towards the Open RAN paradigm, with future-proof automation for multi-vendor environments, including 4G, 5G, and beyond.
The Systems, Technology and Architecture organization is responsible for the architectural evolution of the portfolio, developing technology strategies, and conducting technical studies and prototypes in the early stages of product development.
The System Analyst is a technical role within the Early Phases Program (EPP), focusing on Continuous Analysis (CA) from F0–F1 across execution programs within a designated focus area. The specific focus areas a System Analyst is responsible for may vary depending on incoming program items, however the main focus of this role will be New Node Introduction (NNI) within the Provisioning area.
NNI is responsible for introducing the support of new, or revised versions of managed elements in the Ericsson Network Manager (ENM) product to ensure seamless integration, compatibility, and optimal network performance within evolving telecommunications environments.
To be successful in this role, it is essential to have a strong understanding of the operator’s network architecture, including how different network elements interact and fit within the overall topology. A deep comprehension of how a managed element is represented from the network perspective and how it integrates within the broader ecosystem is crucial for designing effective solutions. Additionally, familiarity with ENM’s current capabilities and internal architecture will be fundamental in assessing feasibility, identifying potential limitations, and ensuring that the proposed technical solutions align with existing system functionalities.
