We’re looking for a skilled System Administrator to join our team and help maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize a wide variety of IT systems.
We are seeking a System Administrator (Level 1) to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. This role is critical in managing IT infrastructure and ensuring optimal system performance across client/server, storage, network devices, and mobile environments. The candidate will provide Tier 1 through Tier 3 support, assist with issue escalation and resolution, and manage daily IT system operations including monitoring and security compliance.
Responsibilities:
As a System Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:
Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
Manage daily operations and configuration of IT systems
Perform Tier 1 (Help Desk), Tier 2, and Tier 3 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution
Assist users in accessing and utilizing IT systems effectively
Administer user accounts (creation, modification, disabling, and removal)
Maintain compliance with applicable security controls and configuration management
Conduct periodic vulnerability scans and support system security patching (IAVA)
Provide communication of technical issues and system status to internal customers and management
Configure and manage UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems
Troubleshoot OS software and enhance system performance and reliability
Support dispatch and resolution of hardware and network-related issues
Analyze and plan for system capacity and optimize resource usage
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (additional 4 years of experience may substitute for degree)
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years as a System Administrator on programs of similar scope and complexity
Certifications:
DoD 8570 IAT Level I compliant (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent)
Computing Environment (CE) Certification (e.g., Microsoft OS, CentOS, or Red Hat OS)
Other Requirements:
At least two (2) years of experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes
Required TS/SCI with Polygraph
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and security compliance tools
Experience with system monitoring and automation tools
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

The proposed salary range for this position is:
