Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
 
The Maintenance Supervisor III oversees the daily maintenance operations in an industrial or production environment. This role ensures that all machinery, equipment, and facilities operate efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Supervisor  supervises a team of maintenance technicians, schedules and implements preventative maintenance programs, and coordinates repair activities to minimize downtime.

Supervision & Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians. Assign daily tasks and projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to company standards. Preventative Maintenance: Develop, implement, and monitor preventative maintenance schedules. Ensure routine inspections and maintenance tasks are completed on time. Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues. Oversee repair work and ensure timely resolution of equipment malfunctions. Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company safety standards. Conduct safety audits and training sessions. Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment histories. Prepare reports on maintenance performance and equipment status. Inventory & Budget Management: Manage spare parts and maintenance supplies inventory. Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget. Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with production, engineering, and external vendors to plan and execute maintenance activities. Provide regular updates on maintenance issues and improvements to management.
  What your background should look like:

Education & Experience:


High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting, with supervisory responsibilities.
 
Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as schematics and blueprints. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

Work is typically performed in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Exposure to noise, chemicals, and other potential hazards; adherence to safety gear and protocols is mandatory. Occasional overtime or on-call availability may be required to address emergencies.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting may be required.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $$100,300 - $150,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
