Supply Chain Analyst

• Demand Forecasting:
• Developing and updating demand forecasts (customer demand) using historical sales data, market trends, and information from sales and marketing teams.
• Data Analysis:
• Monitoring and analyzing variances between forecasted and actual material demand, identifying, investigating, and appropriately addressing the causes of deviations.
• Creating and presenting reports to management and other relevant departments regarding forecast accuracy and the impact of these deviations on inventory and production.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
• Working closely with sales, marketing, finance, production, engineering, procurement, quality, and other involved parties to ensure alignment of the forecast with the organization’s strategy.
• Coordinating customer requirements, both forecasted and firm orders, with production and procurement plans to avoid stock shortages or excessive buildup.
• Collaborating with finance departments to assess the impact of demand forecasts on budgets and spending plans.
• Production Planning:
• Establishing a detailed production plan on a daily, weekly, and long-term basis to cover all firm orders and customer forecasts.
• Monitoring and analyzing SAP exception messages in the planning module for each material.
• Configuring and adjusting system parameters for each material (e.g., minimum and maximum stock levels, delivery times, procurement processes) to ensure correct system alignment with production requirements and demand forecasts.
• Identifying and resolving issues related to exceptions in supply and production flows, providing solutions to optimize material management processes.
• Monitoring production and inventory processes to verify adherence to the production plan and identifying any deviations.
• Proposing corrective actions: if deviations from the production plan occur, proposing solutions to address them and escalating for resolution when necessary.
• Inventory Management:
• Supporting inventory management strategies to minimize costs and maximize product availability.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Proposing solutions to optimize the demand planning process and reduce forecast errors.
• Working alongside SCM teams to reduce delivery times, transportation costs, and optimize internal procurement and distribution processes.
• Actively participating in projects and initiatives aimed at improving workflows and operational efficiency, contributing to the company’s overall success.
• Reporting:
• Creating and presenting periodic and ad-hoc reports on demand forecasts, stock performance, production planning, on-time delivery status, and other relevant key performance indicators.
• Performing other ad-hoc tasks in accordance with professional training.

What your background should look like:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
Experience in supply chain, production planning, or inventory management, preferably in an industrial setting.
Proficient in ERP systems, especially SAP.
Skilled in inventory control to ensure production continuity.
Strong knowledge of supply chain and production planning.
Data analysis skills to support sourcing and inventory decisions.
Effective negotiation and communication with suppliers and internal teams.
Familiar with material quality control and supply risk management.
Strong problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic supply environments.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficient in English
