We are looking for a Staff IT SOX Compliance Manager to work with our expert compliance and audit teams located across the world. Do you have appetite to grow your IT Compliance skills in the highly regulated industry? Then we would love to hear from you.  

The Staff IT SOX Compliance Manager role will be a part of the broader Cytiva IT Compliance Team responsible for SOX and GxP compliance of our systems, working across the organization, as well as with internal and external auditors.


Successful candidates will have the opportunity to be hired into a full-time role and work in a onsite work model in Krakow or Warsaw, Poland.

What you’ll do:

Provide direction and oversight to the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance as applicable to information systems including liaising with finance, other internal stakeholders, internal and external auditors.

Identify risks and key controls in conjunction with business process and IT owners.

Design controls applicable to systems in scope for SOX compliance.

Participate in hands-on SOX control testing activities.

Review results of tests of design and tests of operating effectiveness for key controls and assesses the significance of potential findings.

Assist with the remediation of key control failures with process owners to evaluate root causes for the failure and to determine potential solutions to improve the internal control environment.

​Maintain the repository of key controls and testing results to facilitate periodic reporting to senior management and the Audit Committee and champion internal control and corporate governance concepts throughout the company.

Provide support to corporate and external audit teams during periodic audit.

Coordinate collection and review audit evidence.

Train and educate IT teams in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.

This is a high visibility individual contributor role.

 

Who you are

7+ years of professional experience.

Graduated in Management or Computer Science in “STEM” majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

Prior IT SOX compliance experience is a must.

CISA certification will be a strong asset.

Prior SAP or Oracle EBS compliance experience will be an asset.

Analytic, detail-oriented and business focused problem solver.

Well organized and comfortable with dealing with huge amount of data and stakeholders.

Well developed leadership skills such as communication, negotiation and ability to motivate others.

Prior experience with project management and/or testing would be an asset.

Fluent in English.
