Structural Heart Business Mission: Why We Exist Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease. As the Senior Project Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to independently or lead a project team of cross functional engineers to support div projects across organization. Manage the most important and challenging projects. Define project resources, performance reviews and post implementation evaluations. Take ownership of the successful implementation of the projects. Assist users in defining complex data reports, perform in-depth financial analysis, and develop qualitative insights to inform business decisions. **What You’ll Work On** + Independentlyorlead a projectteamtoidentify, scope, planandconductmedium-sizetocomplexassignedprojects. Communicateprojectprogressandescalateissuestomanagementin a timelymanner. + Understandsthebusinessneedsandhas a thoroughknowledgeofthecustomerwhendeveloping a projectscope. Incorporatesbusinessforesightofemergingtechnologicaltrends. Leadsdevelopmentof Project Charteranddocumentstheinitialrequirementsthatsatisfythestakeholder’sneedsandexpectations. Establishesengineeringprojectobjectivesandtechnicalcriteriaforevaluatingprojectresultsandactivitiesoftheprojectteam. + Monitorsandcontrolsprojectworktomeettheperformanceobjectivesdefinedintheprojectplan. Focusesoncostandmilestoneachievementtooptimizeresourceutilization. + Identifiesareasofriskandmitigatesrisksthroughearlyriskassessmentsandimplementationoffallback / mitigationstrategies. + Identify, develop, andgathertheresourcestocompletetheproject. + Thismayincludepreparingengineeringdesignsandworkspecifications, developingprojectschedules, budgetsandforecasts, andselectingmaterials, equipment, projectstaff, andexternalcontractors.Usesestablished PM toolsandtechniquestostaywithinauthorizedbudgetlimitsandachievetheoverallprojectandorganizationalobjectives.Understand Project Management toolsandmethodologies. Understandengineeringprinciples, theories, concepts, practicesandtechniques. + Direct theworkofprojectteammembers, setgoalsandobjectives, monitorprogressontasks.
