Job Description

Visa DPS, a processing asset at Visa is focused on providing future-ready innovative processing products with superior performance. Visa DPS customers include traditional financial institutions, Fintechs, Neobanks and 3rd party aggregators. Building upon foundation of Visa DPS debit processing business, we are expanding our capability to include additional payment types such as Credit. To affect this new solution, we are looking for digital savvy product development leaders who are passionate about innovating and delivering differentiated client and end-user experiences in product and processing space. They will be responsible for aggressively expanding new Visa DPS solutions by delivering new offerings that will be integrated into existing Visa DPS foundational platforms. As part of this new team, you will help influence and shape our new product offering.

The Sr. Product Manager of DPS New Product Development will have people management responsibility and is responsible to manage, plan, execute, triage and launch new Visa DPS solutions such as credit and BNPL, working closely with technology SCRUM teams, cross-region product managers, product owners, risks, compliance and operations. This position will have exposure to senior leadership within Visa demonstrating excellence in strategic and tactical thought leadership through business plans, quarterly execution plans, operations excellence and key performance indicators.

Essential Functions

Execution leadership: Identify, structure, and manage backlog to quickly arrive at recommendations that drive product priorities and demonstrate results to leadership. Manage the entire product development lifecycle business growth initiatives, including performance tracking and resource allocationProduct backlog management: Define, prioritize and execute product backlog with high level solutions, estimates and dependencies identifiedBuild execution: Collaborate with engineering, service and product teams to develop and integrate solutions with detailed product requirements and execute the technology builds using SAFe/Agile methodologies including epics, features, user stories and other required artifactsQuality and Operations excellence: Work very closely with QA organization to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded with solid definition of acceptance criteria. Ensures builds and deliverables includes compliance, security, performance and business continuity requirementsCommercialization and support: Develop service guides for clients and partners for commercialization and ongoing support

This position requires off-scheduled work hours including late evenings/weekends in support of client and company multi-region structure.

Qualifications8-10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) in payment or retail banking space5+ years as a product manager or product owner in an agile environment3+ years people management experienceProven experience in building, commercializing and operating cross-platform products, especially in credit payment spaceExperience in SAFE/Agile development methodologies and API technologyStrong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating cross functional activities, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriatelyAbility to communicate with both business and technology leaders, with a strong understanding of business data requirements and technology capabilities and an ability to make technical concepts accessible to non-technical audiences.Superior problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigorTeam oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with strong presentation skills, including oral and written capabilitiesWork with limited direction, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to develop rigorous, fact-based recommendations to senior product management while supporting syndication with stakeholders across the organization
