Job DescriptionThe Go to Market (GTM) Optimization and Business Health team has a simple mission: we turn massive amounts of data into robust tools and actionable insights that drive business value and provide best in class experience to our money movement clients. Our team is working to build consolidated, strategic and scalable operational and analytics infrastructure to support best in class payments platforms.
Essential Functions
The Sr. Manager – Process Optimization will be responsible for managing client and business health monitoring for commercial, money movement, and value added services products. Specific activities may include:
Manage a team of monitoring analysts located across the globeServe as a liaison to strategic business partners to understand their needs and propose and build fit for purpose solutionsDevelop monitoring and alerting tools from real-time and daily data feeds to monitor for client level alerts, performance drops, risk and fraud events, and rules violationsBuild strategy and incident workflows that align with business needs and the team’s functional capabilitiesCreate tools and processes to monitor the team’s caseload to ensure appropriate investigation and resolution of identified risk and performance eventsAutomate alerts and workflowsDrive to understand the root problems, define analytical objectives and formalize data requirements for various types of dashboards and analysesDesign and launch robust and intuitive dashboards supporting best in class money movement client experienceCreate and present analytic deliverables to colleagues in the analytics team, other internal stakeholders with varying degrees of analytical and technical expertiseDistill massive amounts of data across disparate data sources into efficient functional data repositories in a Big Data environmentIndependently perform analysis to derive insights and render robust, thoughtful resultsCompare client performance against industry best practices with a shrewd eye toward identifying performance and/or profitability improvement opportunityDevelop presentations of complex data and content for clients and stakeholders in an accurate, understandable, and engaging mannerThis is a hybrid position. QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhDPreferred Qualifications:
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhDUnderstanding of payments and money movement rules, compliance, and regulatory requirementsExperience managing a global operational monitoring function including real-time data and development of incident management workflowsProven success automating data, insights, and processesFamiliarity with Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP/CRM toolsProficiency in Tableau and experience with best in class data visualizationExperience with Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, and Kibana dashboard and alerting creationHigh level of proficiency manipulating data from a variety of sources - Big data skills (Hadoop, Hive, Spark) and/or SQL skills requiredStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to summarize complex topics into easy to understand piecesProficient in all MS Office applications with advanced Excel spreadsheet skillsFunctional knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, and/or Shell ScriptingStrong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insightsAbility to interact and manage stakeholders globally and across time-zonesVisa experience or knowledge of the payments industryAdditional InformationWork Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 130,800.00 to 200,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
