Sr. Laboratory Consumables Representative – Wisconsin

An opportunity exists for an experienced field sales professional in Laboratory Products at Thermo Fisher Scientific.  This role offers the right candidate a key position and will provide career development and growth as a Sr. Laboratory Consumables Representative (LCR) supporting Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.

What you will do:

The LCR is responsible for meeting and exceeding their assigned geographic territory forecast. This will be accomplished by aggressively pursuing new sales opportunities and by effectively establishing strong business relationships with our current and future client base.Provide product expertise and training with our channel partners to develop and close sales opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams seeking new business potentials to achieve maximum results for the company in total.Participate as a team member in all assigned corporate and focus account initiatives.

Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in the Life Sciences, STEM, or business is recommended.

Experience:

5+ years of highly successful laboratory sales experience is required.Experience selling through multiple channel partners including direct sales and marketing is desired.Must have an exceptional understanding of our markets and be knowledgeable of diverse laboratory product applications.

Excellent analytical capability and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a team environment and influence others to achieve results.Ability to effectively learn and use online CRM applications preferably Salesforce.com.Self-motivated with a bias for action.Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communication abilities.Consultative selling abilities and capability to effectively negotiate and close business.Evidence of professional presentation skills.Outstanding follow-up and time management.Excellent pipeline development, funnel management and sales tracking.Willingness to travel to accomplish assigned goals.
