How will you make an impact?
You’ll bring together a range of functions that are required to work together effectively to deliver projects for our customers and internal improvement. In the active marketplace of Electron Microscopy, time to market is important. Developing strategies with cross-functional teams, to appropriately plan and implement projects on time and within expected margins, is crucial for this role.
Key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Collaborate with internal team members and customers, including expectations around quality and on-time delivery and represents the business at project meetings with the customerEstablishes and maintains standard project documentation to ensure visibility of status against program requirements and customer demandsPlans, monitors and ensures timely and successful completion of all activitiesResolves project issues, resource constraints and any internal challenges within allowable project timeframesProvide status updates to essential team members on project requirements including schedules, timelines and critical issuesEnsures customer satisfaction by managing expectations, trouble shooting and providing accurate and timely reports, updates and financial forecasts including preparing any amendments to scope or budget in a timely mannerSubmit all vendor documentation (including engineering drawings and data, performance test data, statutory and regulatory information) as required by the project scope and on-time to the customerEvaluates project results against stated objectives and takes corrective actions.Participates in practical process improvement (PPI) projects and activities, using Root-Cause Counter-Measure (RCCM) tools to evaluate gaps or misses in performance and establish sustainable corrective and preventative actionsWhat will you bring to the team:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., project management, business administration) or equivalent experienceDemonstrated experience setting and achieving goals, managing time, tasks, risks and landmarks, and multi-tasking, preferably in a related industryExcellent leadership, communication, and social skillsEffective communication and collaboration across teams and with partnersEmpower and influence the project teamsAbility to evaluate relevant facts, data and information to provide accurate reports, problem solve, and suggest workable solutionsProficiency in using project planning tools and Microsoft applications to communicate achievements, critical path activities, and responsibilitiesProfessional certification in project management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) is requiredWhat’s in it for you:
