The Sr. Project Engineer Europe is responsible for planning, coordination, and management of investment projects in coordination with the needs of the business partners as well as ensuring efficient, time, resource-, and cost-effective execution.
Core Responsibilities:
Development of (new) technical concepts and transfer into concrete projects along with risk managementEnd-to-end project management: from concept design to planning, implementation, commissioning and handover to the future owner/userTechnical and commercial project management, including -Preparation of specifications and requests for quotations for key components and servicesBudget management: budget estimation, cost tracking, reportingTechnical review of offers and order confirmations and its justificationDocumentation managementContinuous project control with responsibility for adherence to scope, budget, schedule, health and safety as well as quality objectivesManage internal & external stakeholders, including suppliers and contractorsClose collaboration with other departments such as Operations, Process Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, Quality…Independent identification of optimization opportunities and implementation of improvement projects, e.g. in the areas of operational efficiency, quality, EHSParticipation in plant on-call duty (Werksrufbereitschaft)
Qualified candidates will have:

Master of Science or similar degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similarExperience in Project Management, Process Engineering, ideally in a manufacturing and maintenance environmentFluent in Spoken & Written English and min. B2 in GermanDesirable Requirements
Desirable 5 to 10 years of professional experience in Project ManagementMS Office, MS Project, SAPRequired behaviors and skills
