Overall Job Role

Responsible for areas in Controlling and Financial Accounting, covering month end closing activities, timely preparation of local reporting and analysis, ensuring compliance to accounting standards, regulatory bodies requirements and internal control requirements.

\n

Job Responsibilities

\n\nPrepare Service Level Agreement (SLA) recharge amount on monthly basis\nPrepare journals for month end closing activities\nSupport in analysis of monthly profit and loss; and balance sheet\nTimely preparation of ESG reporting in accordance with Global KPIs\nTimely preparation of financial and management reports and analysis\nMonitoring of invoice processing\nSupport in preparation and submission of MDEC and other Government Regulatory requirements\nLiaise with external audits, tax consultants and preparation of documents for financial accounts audit and tax submission\nPreparation and submission of SST\nPreparation and submission of WHT\nEnsuring compliance to internal control requirements\nHandle queries and ad-hoc requests from service line\n\n

People Management

\n\nMaintain strong stakeholder relationships\nBe able to influence decisions / actions through provision of value added inputs into the organization’s business processes\n

Skills & Qualifications

\n\nDegree holder and /or qualified accountant (preferable)\n2-3 years of working experience in related financial accounting areas\nAbility to communicate / work effectively with people at all levels. \nEffective communication skills in English (spoken and written)\nEffective presentation skill to stakeholder at all levels\nSoftware skills (SAP, TM1, CREST, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Apps etc)\nAble to work under pressure to deliver results according to deadline set\nDetailed oriented\nGood analytical skills and sound accounting knowledge\nBusiness Acumen\nAnalytical skills\nPlanning & Organising\nCustomer Orientation\nDecision Making\n
