Job Description

This role is the authority providing legal insights, advice and thought leadership in a specific area of specialisation relevant to the Bank. Providing specialist, quality legal advice and services to the business, legal entity boards and governance committees. Identifying long term risk exposure, manage potential risk and maximising revenue streams by interpreting and evaluating legal information, also drafting related commercial contracts. Setting legal risk appetite within relevant parameters

Qualifications

Type of Qualification: Post Graduate Degree or LLB

Field of Study: Law

Other Minimum Qualifications, Certifications or Professional Membership: Admitted Attorney

Experience Required

10 years or more experience in an area of specialisation with Legal.

More than 10 years experience in the legal/financial and/or corporate/commercial sectors at a senior management level.

More than 10 years experience in setting the direction and precedent for engagement in legal matters.
