**Description:** The Spa Therapist administers professional facial, massage and body treatments to our guests. They must have a thorough knowledge of numerous modalities, possess a general understanding of body treatments and be willing to train in our spa's specific massage and body treatment offerings. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our guests. They must hold and maintain current certifications and licenses as needed. Duties include: + Ensures all Hyatt guests and clients are positively greeted and they can proceed to their chosen activity quickly and efficiently. + Perform services and treatments including facial treatments, body treatments, waxing, massages, manicures, pedicures and make up, in a manner consistent with the Spa philosophies. + By providing professional, courteous and consistent service at all times, being responsible for the generation and retention of members and clients. + Ensuring the highest standards of safety, professionalism and administration are maintained. + Maintain the Spa area to ensure the needs of our hotel and spa guests are met. + Promoting the Spa, its services, facilities, policies and ethics at all times. Must perform in a safe and professional manner to clients. Provide uncompromised attention to guest/member service. The ability to courteously interact and answer all facility related questions with guests. **Qualifications:** + Holder of an international certification in all Spa treatment modalities that will be performed; Massage therapy, Esthetics etc. + Minimum of 2 years work experience as a Spa Therapist in a 5 star environment or hotel, preferably with knowledge about the hotel industry. + Strong retails skills and drive to achieve set retail targets + A good understanding of beauty treatments + Ability to work all shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays. + Customer service and hospitality training will be considered an asset. + First Aid and sanitation training. + Must be fully vaccinated **Primary Location:** TT-TTI-Port of Spain **Organization:** Hyatt Regency Trinidad **Pay Basis:** Hourly **Job Level:** Full-time **Job:** Spa **Req ID:** POR002131 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
