We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Manila, Philippines.
Job Purpose:
Refine and implement best local / sub-regional category specific strategies, particularly within domestic ground transportation in the market. Work closely with local procurement teams to ensure ´best in class´ suppliers and maintain good relationships with the various internal business units and stakeholders. Prepare and support supplier negotiations at local level, and ensure cost competitiveness, compliance, and overall satisfaction for our stakeholders.
Your tasks:
Provide professional sourcing support for key business initiatives, supply market research / intelligence to support business decisions in investments and budgets and establishment of local or sub-regional frame contracts Integrate Procurement services at sub-regional / country level for the business colleagues (divisions) are in scope. Achieving greatest value contribution, benefit realization and efficiency from all procurement activities and ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting their demands in terms of quality, price and service Specialize in strategic sourcing of production equipment, network supplies and transportation capacities in order to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business / function in scope Supporting and implement local category strategies leveraging on regional and global strategies Pro-actively search for alternative sources of supply to ensure continuity of business processes as required by DPDHL Business Partners Ensure (sourcing, purchasing, company) policy adherence of local divisional colleagues Promulgate business ethics/compliance in external and internal engagements to DHL Group Supplier management, database maintenance, supplier classification and new sources identification Track and maintain accurate data in the Procurement tools, suppliers, rates, contracts, spend, projects, Establish close contact with local business units to ensure actual and future knowledge of demand and service quality Contribute to the cooperation between countries and regional sourcingYour profile:
Education Level
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualificationExperience Level
7 years of relevant experience preferably in the Logistics, Supply Chain and Transport or relative industry. Understanding of and working experience with procurement practices and procedures and commercial law, preferably category specific Project management experience preferredOther Key Requirements
