Create and Develop Transport Solution Design at opportunity stage, implementation and existing solutions that require optimization

Responsibilities\nCollect and collate data relating to transport operations and facilitate the transfer of best practicess across the region from personal experience or experience within DHL\nIdentify requirements for, and develop appropriate proprietaryt tools to support the solution design process where required specif to but not limited to transport cost modelling, GP Analysis,\nAdhere to the requiremnts of country, regional and DHL corporate policies at all times\nClearly outline solutions in appropriate formats for presentation to internal / customers. Participate in customer presentations where required\nActively seek to understand and include Transport GoGreen solutions. Aim to reduce carbon footprint for customer and DHL exisitng operations\nActively seek to understand and apply innovation be it to fleet or technology\nReengineering of unprofitable operations\nRequirements

Functional Experience

\n

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Solution Design related to Transport Management
• Knowledge of Transportation, logistics and broader supply chain
• Exposure to modeling of complex domestic transport network logistics / transport Operations
• Advance user of tools such as microsoft excel to perform complex data analysis, Experience in other modelling tools is an advantage


Education / Qualification / Certification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any related field i.e. engineering, supply chain, applied mathematics, economics etc.
• Self-motivated and strong analytical/problem solving skills. Able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision required
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively
• Commercially astute / Business Acumen
