Position Title:              Solutions Architect    

Hours:                         Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/Week

Summary of Duties:    Work with Laboratory Diagnostics and Point of Care digital company teams to build

and deliver Siemens’ use case backlog.  Support backlog of use cases and partner with multiple internal functions and technology centers to design solutions for digitalization.  Work in Agile-Scrum methodology to perform requirement engineering for solution enhancement, coordinate implementation of solutions and organize testing and functionality deployment for digitalization program.  Provide IT consulting services focused on solution design and process improvement leveraging technology.  Serve as the IT single point of contact for all use cases within the scope of responsibility.  Represent the use cases and work across the SHS IT landscape.   20% domestic and international travel required.  Full-time on-site in East Walpole, MA with 2 days per week of remote work permitted. 

Qualifications:             The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or a related field and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Business Process Improvement, IT Business Partner Management, Business Analyst, Project Manager Team Lead, or a related role.

The position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: Designing and implementing solutions to support digitalization, including analytics and automation; Exploring and evaluating new technical app solutions for business use case application; Core business processes supporting Finance, Marketing & Sales, and Supply Chain Management; Solutions design and requirements engineering within enterprise architecture; and SAP and other core business applications, such as Oracle Sales Cloud, Salesforce, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, PowerPlatform, Snaplogic, APIM, AI.  The position requires four (4) years of experience with the following skills: Analytics architecture topics for data source to visualization; Experience working in Agile-Scrum framework and Azure DevOps; and Experience working with Scrum master.  The position requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills: Experience with PowerBI, Qlik Sense, PowerApps, UI Path, Snowflake, or similar solutions; and Experience with SHS IT strategy, IT industry standards and the tools and technologies that make-up the current SHS IT Landscape. 20% domestic and international travel required.  Full-time on-site in East Walpole, MA with 2 days per week remote work permitted.
