Position Overview
Evernorth Customer Data Platform Engineering team is looking for a Software Engineer, skilled in Software Engineering with hands-on experience working with AWS, Springboot and micro services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in in developing and deploying Java-based applications using the Spring Boot framework on the AWS cloud platform, requiring skills in microservices, RESTful APIs, and AWS services like EC2, S3, and Lambda. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge engineering projects and collaborate with cross-regional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
In this role, you will provide hands-on software engineering and system architecture leadership for our CDP teams. You will be working on several of the largest Technology initiatives for Evernorth℠ targeted at revolutionizing Health Services and Healthcare Delivery system in the United States. The focus of the work is to continue to enhance our market winning capabilities in the pharmacy and PBM space.

Responsibilities
Application Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain Spring Boot applications.Microservices Architecture: Build and integrate microservices using Spring Boot.API Development: Develop and manage RESTful APIs.Cloud Deployment: Deploy and manage Spring Boot applications on AWS.AWS Infrastructure: Utilize AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and others.Database Management: Work with relational and NoSQL databases.CI/CD: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.Troubleshooting and Monitoring: Identify and resolve issues in production environments, and monitor application performance.Collaboration: Collaborate with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders.Qualifications
Required Skills:
Programming Languages: Java, Python, SQL.Frameworks: Spring Boot, Spring Framework.Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).Databases: Relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).API Development: RESTful APIs.Microservices: Experience with microservices architecture.CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.Tools: Docker, Kubernetes.Agile Development: Experience with Agile methodologies.Troubleshooting and Debugging: Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Required Experience & Education:
3 – 5 Years of ExperienceCollege degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.Desired Experience:
Exposure to AWS Healthcare experienceCoaching of team members
