We are looking for exceptional software engineers/developers in our PBM Technology Organization. The Ab Initio ETL Developer is responsible for utilizing agile development methodologies to analyze, develop, and process Medical Claims data. This role is expected to understand user stories, identify appropriate designs, code to the design specifications, and complete appropriate unit testing to ensure quality solution delivery. In this role you are expected to work closely with developers, technical project managers, principal engineers and business stakeholders to ensure that application solutions meet business/customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide expertise in technical analysis and solving issues during project delivery.Perform unit testing and debugging. Set test conditions based upon code specifications.Prepare for code review, test case reviews, and ensure code developed meets the requirements.Review code developed by other IT DevelopersEnsure quality, standards, version control by properly following the process.Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges at appropriate time to address project delivery risks.Be hands-on in the design and development of robust solutions to hard problems, while considering scale, security, reliability, and costSupport other product delivery partners in the successful build, test, and release of solutionsWork with distributed requirements and technical stakeholders to complete shared design and developmentSupport the full software lifecycle of design, development, testing, and support for technical deliveryWorks with both onsite (Scrum Master, Product, QA and Developers) and offshore QA team members in properly defining testable scenarios based on requirements/acceptance criteriaParticipate in daily team standup meetings where you'll give and receive updates on the current backlog and challengesParticipate in code reviews. Ensure Code Quality and DeliverablesMaximize the efficiency (operational, performance, and cost) of the application assets. 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scripting, Oracle and Teradata databasesMainframe experience a plusKnowledge of Medical claims data and processing (Claims adjustments, ICD Codes, Procedures, Revenues, etc)Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Required Experience & Education: 

6-8 years of overall professional experience3+ years of experience in Ab Initio ETLExperience with vendor management in an onshore/offshore model. Proven experience with architecture, design, and development of large-scale enterprise application solutions. Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Technology Management, or related field of study.Industry certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus

Healthcare experience including Disease ManagementCoaching of team members

   

Location & Hours of Work

Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriatePrimarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India in a hybrid working model (3 days WFO and 2 days WAH)
