The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Advisor which is a Band 4 Career Track Role with  Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities:

Develop scalable and secure web and mobile healthcare applications inthe pharmacy domain powered by complex Application ProgrammingInterfaces (APIs) orchestration. Contribute to various phases of SoftwareDevelopment Life Cycles (SDLC), including Design, Development andTesting. Work closely with developers, technical project managers,principal engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure that applicationsolutions meet business and customer requirements. Design and developSpring Boot microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven services in adistributed environment. Develop REST services using Spring Boot, SpringREST, and Java. Develop MongoDB queries to extract, transform, andanalyze data. Work with medium-to-large scale web development usingadvanced, distributed technologies to process, store and quickly retrievelarge volumes of data. Develop unit test cases and conduct system andintegration testing. Provide support to and triage issues for applications inproduction. Coordinate the master release process deploying applicationsin healthcare/pharmacy domain. Partial virtual/work from home benefitavailable.

Qualifications:

Position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computerand Information Science or related and four years of software developmentexperience. Must have experience developing healthcare applicationswithin the pharmacy domain, and experience with REST services, Java,Spring Boot, Spring Boot microservices, Spring REST, Mongo DB, SQL,Jenkins, and Open Shift/Cloud.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
